With the aim of providing a seamless digital banking experience to its customers, People's Bank upgraded its Siyambalanduwa Service Centre into a fully-fledged branch and ceremonially opened it to the public on 14th March, making it the 364th People's Bank branch in the country.

Ranjith Kodituwakku - Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, Mahinda Premanath - Deputy General Manager-Channel Management, Saman Rathnayake- Regional Manager– Monaragala, Rohan Perera - Regional Manager - Kegalle, M.M.A Amarasiri and R.M.P Rathnayake - Assistant Regional Managers, all from People's Bank, together with  Saman Warnakulasooriya -Chairman of the Siyambalanduwa Pradeshiya Sabha, Asanka Rathnayake – Siyambalanduwa Divisional Secretary, Ravindra Hearth - OIC of Siyambalanduwa Police Station, Achala Rathnayake - Branch Manager and other bank officials as well as customers took part in the event.

The opening ceremony was carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines.
