People's Bank Medagama Branch was ceremoniously declared opened by People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Ranjith Kodituwakku at its new location recently.

The relocated Branch provides customers in the Medagama area with the latest digital banking services, while its the Self Banking Unit enables customers to conduct most of their transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mahinda Premanath - Deputy General Manager-Channel Management, Saman Rathnayake - Regional Manager– Monaragala, Rohan Perera - Regional Manager - Kegalle, M.M.A Amarasiri and R.M.P Rathnayake - Assistant Regional Managers, all from People's Bank, together with  Ranjith Piyadigama -Chairman of the Medagama Pradeshiya Sabha, Wimal Ranaweera -  Secretary to the Medagama Pradeshiya Sabha, Kapila Bandara -  Medagama Divisional Secretary, Susil Wijethilake - Zonal Educational Director, Prabath Dissanayake - OIC of Medagama Police Station, P.H.I.P Siriwardana - Branch Manager and other bank officials as well as customers took part in the event.

The opening ceremony was carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines due to the pandemic situation in the country.
