Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week-Sri Lanka is the first international fashion week took place in the country. Conceptualised by AOD in partnership with the Dimo- the official custodians of the Mercedes-Benz brand in Sri Lanka, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2017 is the ultimate platform for showcasing Sri Lanka’s flourishing fashion and apparel industry as well as showcasing homegrown talent. The fashion week was a stunning curation of runway shows and exhibitions as well as forums and mini-talks. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Sri Lanka took place from the 27th – 29th of October 2017, at the Mercedes-Benz Centre for Excellence at Dimo 800 in Colombo.

The opening day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Sri Lanka was a splendid night showcasing a lineup completely designed and made in Sri Lanka by incredibly talented designers. Day 2 of the show dazzled with Travel Style Runway - a presentation of an artistic interpretations of classical holiday clothing. Day 3 of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Sri Lanka showcased under the title of 'Emerging Talent'.
